However, traditional manual start/stop methods are slow to respond and prone to misoperation, failing to meet this precise control requirement. Based on the customer's actual layout of 6 conveyor belts, Hengbiao Technology installed a high-precision weighing detection device on each conveyor belt to sense the weight of the material on the belt surface in real time. The system logic is designed as follows: when any conveyor belt detects material (weight exceeding the set threshold) passing by, it immediately sends a digital signal to the control room PLC. The control room automatically opens the solenoid valve of the corresponding conveyor belt, connects the water circuit, and starts the spray head in that area to suppress dust. Once the material on that conveyor belt has been transported and the weight has returned to zero, the system immediately closes the solenoid valve and stops spraying. The entire process is fully automated, requiring no manual intervention. Simultaneously, the system integrates a water level sensor module that automatically detects whether the water tank is "full" or "short," sending alerts or interlocking protection signals to the host computer to ensure the continuous and stable operation of the sprinkler system. Compared to the previous extensive approach of "all water on, flooding the system," the new system achieves on-demand water supply with precise targeting, eliminating the potential for excessive water to damage the equipment. “This system is even better than we expected—it truly achieves spraying only when there is material and stopping when there is no material, and each conveyor belt is independently controlled, saving water and protecting the equipment,” said the customer's on-site manager.
